Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Makes decisions regarding methods independently
  • Checks integrity of data in SPMAT
  • Assists in the resolution of Over, Short, and Damaged (OSD) reports with Clough Buyer.
  • Logging data entry project materials and related subcontractor warehousing & inventory activity with particular emphasis on management on laydown and storage areas, including receipt, inspection, and dispatch of materials & equipment from the work packs.
  • Maintenance of materials tracking records within SPMAT storage location.
  • Lead by example. Have a pro-active approach to the incorporation of the Project Safety Management Plan.
  • Develop and implement safe work methods.
  • Establish project set up in SPMAT creates virtual warehouse locations user profiles and access.
  • Liaises with Engineering & Construction teams to define materials requirements for work packs and job cards, creates reservations, and manages soft and hard allocation of materials, and provides regular materials availability reports by work pack, job card or assigned priorities.
  • Advises project team of any identified materials shortages against reservation reports.
  • Runs materials and equipment reconciliation reports.
  • Reports on items that have been requisitioned or purchased but no longer required from materials reconciliation reports.
  • Maintains reports on surplus project materials and assists with disposal or transfer of surplus on completion of project.
  • Manages Purchase Orders via SPMAT.
  • Other duties as requested by your Line Manager.

 You should possess the following:

  • 1 to 10 years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive experience
  • Knowledge of Project Material Management – Cost, Planning Reporting
  • Good written and oral communication, attention to detail, team player, able to effectively lead by example
  • Certificate or Diploma in Materials Management or Logistics preferred but significant on the job experience with part professional qualifications in a relevant subject would suffice
