Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementing Technical Services processes, systems and procedures
  • Coaching, training and developing Technical Services personnel
  • Ensuring user service is responsive and valuable and resolves the issue
  • Achieving service standards and performance measures
  • Contributing to improving user support by actively responding to queries, ensuring successful resolution of escalations and handling complaints
  • Establishing best practices through the entire technical support process
  • Maintaining legacy hardware and software
  • Providing licensing support for Designer and Engineering software packages
  • Acting as first point of contact for users
  • Providing level 1-2 Helpdesk support to personnel across multiple sites
  • Ensuring requests are logged, implementing corrective actions and following up escalated issues to ensure a successful resolution is achieved
  • Troubleshooting general IT issues, hardware, software, peripherals and providing assistance to users with Clough systems
  • Managing user access, new system users and equipment configuration
  • Managing and setting up hardware, including desktops, laptops, tablets and printers
  • Establishing and maintaining users on Active Directory, Exchange and O365
  • Providing onsite service to project site offices, including design and implement of infrastructure
  • Providing onsite service and repair to key individuals’ residences
  • Maintaining strong relationships with a range of key stakeholders including local and remote users, senior management and external providers
  • Following up with users to identify areas of improvement
  • Managing large scale projects, tasks and rollouts

 You should possess the following:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems
  • Hands on experience with help desk and remote control software
  • Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience
  • Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Exchange, VMware, Symantec, Desktop hardware/software in networked corporate based environments, peripherals, PC operating systems and a range of application software
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Server & Active Directory Services
  • Demonstrated depth of technical understanding and knowledge of PC hardware/software in networked corporate based environments, peripherals, PC operating systems and a range of application software.
