We are currently searching for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on the BHP South Flank project. Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, you will work closely with the Site Supervisors, Planners and Engineers to ensure that the project delivery remains on schedule and within budget parameters.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation and evaluation of project variations, claims, delays, extension of time and contractual obligations;
  • Accurate recording of variances to the project budget;
  • Verification of the re-measure quantities including confirmation of consistency in methods of measurement
  • Preparation of Value of Work Done (VOWD) reports;
  • BOQ verification;
  • Ensuring all notifications/documents are managed in accordance with the contract, and Client / Company policy;

You should possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or relevant field;
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a resources sector construction project;
  • Previous experience producing bills of quantities for major projects;
  • Excellent eye for detail and ability to read construction drawings;
  • Previous experience taking off various schemes on design & construction projects;
  • Strong computer literacy skills and an analytical mindset

This position is a site-based role on a 15:6 roster, FIFO from Perth.
