A rewarding opportunity currently exists within our Brisbane based team for a suitably experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Contracts Administrator.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate between different business functions.
  • Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this position involves the administration of predominantly post award contract activities.
  • Liaising with Construction team when processing subcontractor invoices and variation claims
  • Liaising with project controls team with accurate cost reporting
  • Liaising with the project team, client representatives, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure information flows unencumbered
  • Maintaining records relating to budgets, committed costs, forecasts and variations, preparing monthly reports, non-conformances and general third-party performance
  • Administering contracts in line with jurisdiction regulations

The successful applicant will possess the following areas:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator
  • Degree Qualifications in business or engineering field, or significant on the job experience with part professional qualifications
  • Experience working on large value oil and gas projects or other suitable project work
  • Experience with administration of multiple subcontracts simultaneously
  • Knowledge of subcontract and statutory requirements
  • Conversant with basic contract law
  • Attention to detail, and a strong relationship focus
  • Highly developed communication skills to motivate, inspire and persuade
