The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of Clough, Salini-Impregilo and Lane and has recently been selected as preferred tenderer to design and construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW, and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

The Role

As part of our project Commercial team you will work closely with Procurement and multidisciplinary team of Engineers and project construction personnel managing contracts in delivering this major renewable energy infrastructure project. This will include:

  • Leading a small team administering subcontracts across the project
  • Defining scopes of works and preparation of tender packages
  • Negotiation and administration of major subcontract packages
  • Managing contractual correspondence and negotiation of variations and claims
  • Overseeing payments and settlements of accounts
  • Forecasting and commercial reporting

Your Skills & Experience

Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Engineering along with significant experience in Contracts Management working on major projects within the infrastructure and construction sectors from project start-up through to close-out. Your experience will include:

  • Negotiation and letting of major civil, mechanical & electrical engineering & construction contracts
  • Leading subcontract administration teams
  • Working within diverse teams of commercial, procurement, technical engineering and site personnel
  • Strong attention to detail and capacity to meet tight deadlines
